Using Vulnerability to Teach in Supervision Bundle

Clinical supervision with trainees in any helping profession places supervisors in a vulnerable position because we are extending our licenses for these trainees to practice. Developing an authentic relationship with our supervisees might mitigate some of the liability vulnerability, but it also creates a more vulnerable experience for the supervisor and supervisee during training. This workshop will look at best practices with regard to teaching in professional supervisory relationships and review the ethical considerations involved in supervising in the helping professions.
