This course serves as a basic introduction to the structure and application of Medicare benefits for older adults and persons with disabilities. Course content is appropriate for new health care professionals or those searching for a general review of Medicare insurance and services. Participants will receive a general overview of how to qualify for Medicare, basic benefit/coverage structure (A, B, C, & D) and best practices for helping patients navigate Medicare services. This course is not appropriate for advanced health care professionals already familiar with Medicare services and billing.Expand summary
