This workshop will present up-to-date information on the full range of medications used in treating individuals with substance use disorders. It will cover detoxification as well as maintenance, including those used in opioid treatment. It will include attention to the client’s experience in using drugs to treat a drug problem, as well as pitfalls commonly seen in clinical practice.
