This exciting workshop is based on the research of Dr. Bruce Perry. In this program, designed for social work field instructors, we will explore ways to initiate, build, and maintain connection and rapport with interns placed in social work field settings via an online forum. We will also discuss how to reduce stress for both students and field instructors who are working with remote field placements.

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand how stress can lead to vulnerability or resilience
• Understand the arousal continuum and how it affects learning
• Create a practical strategy promoting resilience for students, field instructors in agency and program settings transitioning into on-line field opportunities

Please note: if licensed for other professions or other states, check with your state licensing agency for reciprocity and/or credit approval.

Requests for special accommodations: If you require adaptive accommodations, please contact so arrangements can be made.
